The Deck Press: Now you can create your own decks!
With the Deck Press you can build your own decks for Hardwood games and future card games from Silver Creek Entertainment. You could for instance take a few pictures of the family, scan them in, and make a family photo album deck. Or make a deck that included your favorite species of hairy frogs, whatever the sky's the limit!
What are Decks?
We made it possible in our games to change the card faces and backs through the use of external decks. We have a couple holiday decks available now on our web site that you can download. So for instance you could download the Halloween deck and play solitaire with images of Halloween on the cards if you have the full version of our games to use extra decks..
Requirements:
The Deck Press requires Win95, 16 megs of RAM, and
about 6 megs of hard drive space.
It also requires that your video mode is High Color (16
Bit) or greater. To change your video mode right click on your desktop, click on
properties, select the settings tab and pick a color mode. You will also need a
full version of a Hardwood game to use the decks you create. Although anyone can create decks
with The Deck Press, only full version users of Hardwood games can actually
use them.
